WHO WE ARE

We just love shaved ice & people!

Andy & Kara Byrd bought JJ's Shaved Ice in November of 2016 and rebranded to Snowbyrds Shaved Ice, while still keeping the staff, location, and great flavors. Andy & Kara had the vision to create Snowbyrds as a destination and quickly created a space that is welcoming and friendly with a photo booth area at the back of their trailer and new additional gourmet flavors with specials of the week. In May they expanded even more by adding the Snowbyrd Truck for catering and events in the area. Andy grew up in Durant and while Kara grew up in Atoka she is now proud to call Durant home.
